First pops I created for a birthday party: my son's 1st birthday!
Our Story
It first started out with helping my sister-in-law make brownie pops for my niece’s birthday. When the time came for my own son’s 1st birthday party, I ventured to make the pops myself. Then my nephew’s birthday rolled around a few months later, and I ended up making cake pops for his party as well. Before I knew it, I was being asked by friends to make pops for birthday parties, baptisms, and as gifts. This got me thinking, “Maybe I should take it a step further…”
A little background on me: I received my Bachelor’s in Sociology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2009. It was there that I met my husband, even though we were both from the Bay Area. After 7 years of living in Los Angeles, a job opportunity brought us back to the Bay Area in 2010. A year later, I decided to pursue my passion for counseling and serving disadvantaged populations, so I began the journey of completing my Master’s in Social Work through the virtual program at the University of Southern California (USC). In February 2012, our son, Aaron Paul was born. As the program progressed, I experienced challenges in my personal life, school, and internship, and my health issues worsened. I decided to take a medical leave from school in March 2013. A few months later, this hobby of making pops and treats turned into something more!

I don’t know much about baking or running a business (and to many levels still don’t!), but I know I love having an artistic outlet, the friends I make these for, and being at home with my son and husband. I still find ways to continue my passion, and I do plan on returning to school someday. But for now, I am taking things day by day and enjoying this new journey we are embarking on!
That’s how Eat Bake Love began! Although you will see me in the forefront of most things, I do get a lot of help from my wonderful family! My sister, Ghia, gives me advice on how to make the pops taste better, while she and other family members are my taste testers! My husband is my partner-in-crime, and he helps bring out my designs for media and print, washes dishes (because there are oh, so many after I bake!), and creates my custom tags. We look forward to more creations, meeting more people, and more yummy desserts and treats to come! Thank you in advance for considering us for your next event, party, baptism, shower, gift… or just because!
