You are more than enough

This is for all my sisters and brothers that believe they have to work or accomplish things to be loved, feel loved, be worthy or feel worthy.

Jesus’s work on the cross is MORE than enough, and He did it because He believed the same about you: MORE THAN ENOUGH.

Not by your accomplishments. He did that for you knowing all the ANTI-accomplishments (aka sin) you were gonna make in your entire life.

And He did it anyway.

His resurrection power that lives in you means that whatever’s been holding you back from truly receiving His love and grace, He has the power to help you overcome that so your relationship with Him can be full!

Thriving relationship with Him = Thriving Life REGARDLESS of your circumstances...PERIOD.

Greater than any answered prayer is the Giver of the answered prayers Himself.

Rest tonight friends, knowing that you don’t have to work or accomplish things to earn love or worthiness; you have it in FULL and it is waiting for you to receive it in full!

Pruning and Refining

Pruning and refining doesn’t feel good...but the fruit it produces is SO worth it.

The masterpiece.

The freedom.

The healing.

The inexplicable joy on the other side...

...makes it all WORTH IT.

Hang on sister! God is breaking through some heavy chains like only He can!

“Expectations are resentments waiting to happen.” -The Road Back To You

Aaron loves playing with his dad. I can tell his eyes light up a different way.

As a chronic illness mama, I used to be so hurt and was afraid that Aaron would wish he had a different mommy because I couldn’t run, jump, or be as active.

I was either expecting I’d be able to do those things one day or that Aaron would change his viewpoint.

Spoiler alert friends: neither work.

And expecting them to just built not only resentment in myself but discontentment, envy, loneliness and so many other negative emotions.

We can pray boldly that I could do those things one day, because I know we serve an almighty God.

But praying and hoping are different from expecting.

Expecting was hindering me from having that fun and close relationship with my son, which is what I wanted in the first place.

Now, I find my own ways to “have fun” with the kids that are within my capacity: board games, art, card games, etc.

Now, when Aaron says he loves playing with his daddy and his eyes light up, I adore and love the relationship they have AND the relationship him and I have.
