It's not selfish, it's necessary.
When you are doing it for selfish reasons, sure it may be selfish.
But when you are doing it to refuel, restore and renew so you can continue living for God and your purpose and pouring into others, it's not selfish.
It's totally necessary to do what you were made to do WELL without burning out and wearing yourself out in the process.
What are you doing today for YOURSELF to refuel, restore and renew?
We need community. There's a reason why God commands us to surround ourselves with people who can point us back to Him in the hills and valleys in our life.
Because the thoughts we think can lead us spiraling.
The thoughts the enemy throws at us can make us believe things that are simply not true.

In the climate of our society, where there is so much injustice, and so many ways they are being [or not being] dealt with...both positively and negatively, where do we go from here?
There may not be easy, quick answers...but the one answer I know to be true is that it lies in the cross. It lies in the Gospel. It lies in being guided by God (and constant re-directing) on what next steps to take.
May we continue to live out, not just THE dream...but HIS dream.
