Unconditional Love

Often times we think if we love unconditionally, we are “enabling” a bad habit or behavior.

Loving unconditionally means you meet someone where they’re at, without forcing them to be who you want them to be.

Loving unconditionally means you show love regardless of the outcome of their decisions.

There’s no 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙮 of what “showing love” looks like.

And when you 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮’𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙩, it doesn’t mean you’re approving of a bad habit or behavior, but showing compassion and grace of where they are, what it took for them to get there, and the struggle to come out of it...WITHOUT any forcing or expectations that lead to resentment happening.

And when you do this more and more, it not only benefits and serves the other person, but you as well!

💜↔️ 𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗪𝗔𝗬 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 ↔️💜

If you struggle with how this looks like, the best role model we have of this is in Jesus!

Extra nugget for the night: reread this. But instead of thinking of a person you’re trying to love more unconditionally, think of your physical and mental conditions. 🤔🤯💪🏼
