It is so easy to let the thoughts run wild when we believe pain is happening TO us.
It can send us down a spiraling, dark hole.
What if we believed that the pain was happening FOR us instead?
I know that's hard to imagine, especially as you're going through it.
But God knows exactly what you're feeling, and we have the cross to show us.
When we don't know why we have to go through our pain, and while we are waiting to have the answers revealed to us (if we are given the honor of knowing), we can look to the cross and trust that pain CAN be happening FOR us.
And that purpose is one of the most beautiful things in this world, so perhaps the pain we are feeling in this season can be for something good and beautiful beyond what we can imagine too.
