You Are Special

You are special.

He gives it to you as a gift because of who He is, and because you ARE special to Him.

If you haven’t read this children’s book, go read it! It’s great for kids AND adults.

In fact, it was the book that I read about a year ago, where I broke down into tears after having a season of not being able to cry at all from the numbness I was experiencing with my depression.

It’s a good reminder for all ages that we are special, and the only voice that matters is His.

Love month, Love More

Happy February friends! The month where we tend to emphasize LOVE 💕 💗 a lot more.

We recently watched the series finale of @nbcthegoodplace ...and don’t worry, no spoiler alerts here!

But the ending reminded me of just that: LOVE. 💜✨

While this month is highly commercialized and can be consumeristic...may we also remember and create a NEW emphasis to simply LOVE more.

Life is precious.
Tomorrow is not guaranteed.
Heck, even the next hour isn’t.

May we use our limited time here on Earth to be more kind, more compassionate, more generous, more loving to one another.

Hug more.
Serve more.
Forgive more.
Laugh more.

This IS possible even with the mix of all of our pain, anger, frustrations, and fears.

Let’s make it happen together, one person at a time, one day at a time.

I didn’t believe it before but...

I didn’t believe it before, but I know this to be true now more than ever.

My emotional and spiritual healing has been far greater than any physical and mental healing I’ve ever received.

It gives me hope and strength when I have none and feel weak.

Even when symptoms and flare-ups arise, God’s grace and love for me have remained constant.

For those that were me before and don’t believe it quite yet either, I know and understand.

As you continue wrestling with God, I pray that this can become your reality, and that your relationship with God will grow and strengthen like no other. 🙏🏼💪🏼
