Look Up

When we look down and around, we will grow tired and frustrated; it's an endless hamster wheel.

But when we look up, we find peace and a burden lifted off, knowing that we don't have to work to earn His love; it is already given to us just as we are.

And that unconditional, deep love is what drives us to live the life He calls us to, not the one we chase tirelessly.

The wheel was stopped when He was nailed to the cross and the grave was empty.

Praying you find comfort in that today.

Things In Life Are Not Easy

Learning to live with chronic health issues and still have joy isn’t easy...

Surviving abuse in different forms isn’t easy...

Learning how to have a healthy relationship and healthy communication isn’t easy...

Learning to still have joy despite all the various pains and trials in your life, be it emotional, mental, physical or spiritual, isn’t easy...

But the more you lean into the discomfort, challenge and pain...it gets easier not because it erases the pain of your experience or circumstances, but because you get TOUGHER my friend!

That toughness doesn't come from our own willpower and strength.

We all know life throws things at us that are more than we can bear.

Oh friend, the toughness increases because of the power living INSIDE us from the Holy Spirit.

Through our weaknesses, His strength SHINES!

We get tougher because we are made in His image, and His power, His resurrecting power, lives in US.

He overcame the the world and even death, and it is because of Him, that we are able to overcome ANYTHING in this life.

His strength.
His healing.
His peace.
His victory.

Put Your Faith In Christ, Not Your Circumstances

Confession: I used to be constantly guilty of putting my faith in my circumstances, and make a conclusion as to how God was answering (or not answering) my prayers.

He doesn’t love me.

I’m forgotten.

He’s not as good as I thought.

He’s not as powerful as I thought.

Oh friend, how wrong I was.

My questions were valid: if God was so good then _________? If He is all powerful then _________?

But it was with the focus and intention of Him doing things the way I wanted Him to.

• Circumstances change.
• Circumstances can be a result of natural occurrences.
• Circumstances can also be a result of decisions we or others have made, which is constantly changing.

These are not the greatest thing to put our faith in. 🚫

What and who is, is the God who never changes.🙌🏼👆🏼

It’s in Christ, who fully knew we were going to make all the decisions in our lifetime, and still chose to serve, love and sacrifice for you and I.💜

When you wonder why your health is still where it’s at...or why your prayers aren’t being answered in the way you have hoped, or why you’re still struggling with the same pain and heartaches, don’t measure how much God loves you on circumstances that constantly change and are dependent on different things....❌

...measure it by what’s been ALREADY done for you on the cross, by Jesus, and a God who NEVER changes. ✝️
